Membership Form and Fundamental Principles

Introduction

The Administrative Committee of the Federation welcomes leaders of Protestant churches from our community, who work to spread the Gospel both abroad and in Haiti. The Lord's mission is better accomplished when we set aside selfishness and divisions and move towards unity. Our Protestant community, although vast, has the duty to embrace the challenge of unity. Together, let's form a solid block, capable of establishing exemplary internal ecclesiastical discipline and inspiring Haitian society so that the spiritual and moral values advocated by the Word of God become the norm in Haiti.

Membership Criteria

To become a member of our federation, it is essential to subscribe to the fundamental principles of our faith:

• The inerrancy of the Bible: The Bible is recognized as the divine word, free from errors.
• The divinity of Jesus Christ: The divine nature of Jesus is affirmed without reservation.
• The personality of the Holy Spirit: The presence and action of the Holy Spirit are unquestionably accepted.
• Salvation by grace through faith: Salvation is seen as a free gift from God, accessible only through faith.
• The second coming of the Lord: A firm conviction in the second coming of Jesus Christ is required.

It is imperative to note that pastors affiliated with secret societies, such as Freemasonry or Rosicrucianism, cannot become members of our federation. We also exclude any unverifiable claims of being a prophet or apostle.

Pastoral Ethics Code

A pastoral ethics code will be established to define expectations, strengthen accountability, and protect the integrity of our community. This code will guide pastors in their ethical decisions and contribute to the prevention of conflicts.

Development Initiatives

Initiatives such as multi-church cooperatives are encouraged to amplify the impact of our social actions. Seminars and pastoral retreats are also planned for the personal and professional development of pastors.
