Executive Board

The Executive Board

Members of the Executive Board constitute the governing body of the Federation. Their roles vary according to the responsibilities defined in the bylaws. They are divided into three categories:

  • Supervisors: Responsible for the supervision, preparation, and implementation of the organization’s agenda.
  • Administrators: Tasked with leading other sections of FEHAPCO, including the Administrative Committee and the FEHAPCO Foundation.
  • Directors: Responsible for various functions aimed at supporting, promoting, and developing the Federation’s programs.

Each member of the Executive Board, established in a specific country or state, acts as an ambassador of the Federation. They collaborate with other board members to facilitate the creation of various committees and sub-committees of the organization in their country.

Federation Program

A branch of the Federation will be established in every country where Haitian churches are located. In addition to the objectives stipulated in the Federation’s bylaws, the following proposals will be integrated:

  • Support the spiritual and social development of Haitian churches.
  • Implement consensual ecclesiastical disciplinary measures.
  • Strengthen the Christian family fabric.
  • Launch social projects to assist those in difficulty.
  • Contribute to the improvement of Haiti's economic, social, and spiritual situation.
  • Promote the implementation in Haiti of the clauses of the spiritual contract established on November 24, 2023.

Clauses of the Spiritual Contract

  1. First Clause: "L'Union Fait La Force" remains our national motto, to which we add "God Is Our Strength." We solicit divine protection for our nation, as highlighted in Psalm 9:17: "The wicked shall return to the grave, all the nations that forget God."
  2. Second Clause: "Thou shalt not kill." Human life is sacred. As the Lord says: "I will demand an accounting for the life of another human from his brother." It is essential to dissociate from crimes committed in the country and to act with compassion and dignity in the presence of a death, expressing, if possible, our condolences to the bereaved families. In the event of a mass shooting, a day of mourning will be observed, and authorities will lower the flag.
  3. Third Clause: A Thanksgiving Day will be established in Haiti, with the participation of Haitians living abroad. The Federation of Haitian Protestant Churches Abroad will collaborate with the Protestant Federation of Haiti to choose this day.
  4. Fourth Clause: The nation commits to electing only leaders of great morality to head the state.
  5. Fifth Clause: The integration of the study of Holy Scriptures in public education is crucial for instilling strong moral values from an early age. In accordance with Haitian laws on public education, the teaching of the Old and New Testaments in our schools is mandatory.
